Mule-drawn canal boat rides offered at Georgetown and Great Falls, MD. 185-mile tow path for hiking and biking. Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center offers exhibits of canal history daily 9am-5pm. Located 1/2 mile south of visitor center are the Olmstead Bridges which offer a spectacular view of Great Falls on the Potomac River. Visit Riley's Lock house (1833), the only original lock house open to the public, located in Seneca, MD. Sat.-Sun. 1-4pm. March-November.
